Christmas Gift Guide {Gillian's List of Links}

Christmas in Rome

It's no secret I love a list. Another thing I love are gift guides. Here is my Christmas gift guide for 2014.

Eating Rome //

One of my best pals has a book coming out in April. Elizabeth's Minchilli's Eating Rome promises to be the inside scoop on the best of food and food culture in Rome. You can pre-order now on Amazon. It will be like giving someone something twice!

Not in Italy but craving real Italian food? Gustiamo has some of the best products around. Pasta and my favorite tomatoes from near the Amalfi Coast, Olive oil (which is extra precious this year) and coffee are just some of what they carry in their online store.

Tours in Rome

Planning a trip to Italy? Book a tour. Trust me on this. You can start by reading about tours I have really liked. A tour in Rome that is really special is the Walks of Italy Colosseum after dark experience. In Venice my pal Monica Cesarato has just added a pastries and chocolate tour to her repertoire of walking tours!

Napoli Unplugged Guide to Naples

Would like to extend the holiday celebrating? Maybe you like to celebrate Befana too?  Now for a little shameless self promotion. My pal Bonnie, the brains behind the incredibly useful Napoli Unplugged website gathered together Barbara Zaragoza, Penny Ewles-Bergeron, Kelly Medford and myself to write and illustrate THE definitive guide to Naples. My part is naturally all about the Amalfi Coast. Pre-orders will be available starting in January. Find out all the details here.

But wait there is more. Take a look at my Christmas gift guides for 2013 and 2012 too.
